The item was brand new and super easy to use. Made the work of accurate cuts super easy. One thing to note is it’s a large and heavy piece of equipment. So you might need a car to collect and lift up the stairs. Next time I might get the vacuum as well to help keep the mess to a minimum while sawing.

What to expect
This Festool crosscut saw is perfect for work on location. This is partly due to the ergonomically placed carrying handles, cable winding and transport protection. But certainly also because of the compact construction with flush-fitting guide rods. In addition, the Festool double-mounted double guide column ensures safe and smooth guidance of the saw blade. Furthermore, this crosscut saw is equipped with other clever features; extendable table extension, additional groove function and bevel.
Perfect to use for:
- Cut planks and panels up to 305x60 mm.
- Shorten skirting boards, profiles and square timber up to 60mm thick.
- Fit plinths and moldings with flawless corners without calculating, in combination with the swing hook.
