The operational backbone for baby and toddler equipment rental.
Prams, car seats, cots, highchairs and travel gear. You grow the brand and the community of parents. BIYU runs everything behind it: live availability, fulfilment, returns, safety checks, refurbishment and the decision on what every item does next.

Baby and toddler equipment is one of the hardest categories to run circular.
Babies outgrow everything in months
A bedside crib is used for six months, a cot bed for two years. Every item passes through many families, so every return, swap and turnaround has to be fast.
Safety cannot live in a spreadsheet
Car seats have expiry dates, crash histories and recalls. Textiles need washing, mattresses need sanitising. Parents trust you with their child.
Demand moves with seasons and due dates
Summer holidays drive one-off travel rentals, due dates drive monthly rental plans. Without forecasting you are either sold out or paying for idle stock.
A small team doing everything
Picking, packing, returns, cleaning, customer service and growth, often by the same five people. Every manual step costs time you should spend on parents.
Every model on one product page. Live stock behind every button.
Storefronts like Shopify and WooCommerce are built for linear selling. BIYU adds the storefront elements that make circular models work on them: availability calendars for one-off hire, monthly rental plans, condition grades and deposits, all connected to your real stock per colour, per grade and per hub.
But the storefront is the easy part. The real challenge starts after checkout, when the pram has to be picked, delivered, returned, checked, cleaned and sent out again. Doing that for thousands of items is where BIYU comes in.
- Works on Shopify, WooCommerce or your own frontend through the API
- Availability per colour, per grade, per hub, per day
- One-off hire, rolling monthly plans and sales on the same product page
- Condition grades that change the price, for rental and for sale
- Deposits, due date starts and swaps handled at checkout

Every return checked, cleaned and proven safe for the next family.
Returns land in a structured flow per category. Car seats get a different checklist than cots. Every check is recorded on the serial with photos, so you can show any parent exactly what happened to the item before it reached them.

Decide what every item does next, based on data.
When an item comes back, BIYU weighs its condition, number of cycles, age, current demand per variant and repair cost. Then it recommends the step that earns the most: rent it again, move it to subscriptions, offer a buyout, sell it refurbished, harvest parts or recycle it.

Demand for Oat is ahead of stock for the next 8 weeks. Back into the monthly rental pool earns € 384 more than selling it now.
Know what parents will want next quarter, down to the colour.
BIYU learns from every booking, due date and return. Predictive forecasting shows demand per category and per variant months ahead, so you buy the right stock before the peak and stop buying what will sit on the shelf.

BIYU advice
Demand passes your fleet in 3 months. Buy 14 prams in Sage and Oat, none in Black, and offer buyouts on the oldest Black units.
Every pram earning, not waiting on a shelf.
Idle stock is the most expensive thing in a rental business. BIYU allocates the right unit to the right hub and the right model, so more of your fleet is out with families more of the time.

A warehouse system that knows things come back.
Linear warehouse software has one direction: in, store, out. Baby equipment moves in loops through quarantine, cleaning, repair and ready stock, often split into kits. BIYU runs every status, location and hub at serial level.

Questions from baby equipment rental teams
Yes. The BIYU storefront elements add a calendar for one-off hire, monthly rental plans with a minimum term that roll on monthly, and sales to one product page on Shopify, WooCommerce or your own frontend. Parents pick a colour and a condition grade, and every option draws on the same live stock per variant, per grade and per hub.
Every returned item gets a grade after its safety check and refurbishment, for example new, grade A or grade B. The grade is stored on the serial and shown on the product page, where it changes the rental and sale price. You decide per category which grades are allowed, for example car seats only new or grade A.
Every car seat is tracked on its serial with its expiry date, crash history and recall status. Returns go through a dedicated safety checklist with photos before they can be allocated again, and seats close to expiry are moved to short rentals and retired automatically.
Yes. Parents can order months ahead and choose the due date as the start. BIYU reserves the stock, plans the delivery ahead of the date and starts billing on delivery.
When a child outgrows a product, BIYU plans the delivery of the next item and the collection of the old one in a single trip. The returned item goes straight into the right refurbishment flow.
Yes. BIYU can calculate a buyout price based on the age, condition and remaining value of the serial, and recommends when a buyout earns more than another cycle.
No. BIYU works with your own warehouse, a 3PL, a refurbishment partner or a mix across multiple hubs. The workflow stays the same.
