No. There are two ways in. You can add a Rent instead button to your existing product pages, which opens a widget with availability, dates and price. Or we host a dedicated rental storefront for you, in your branding and on your own domain. Many brands start with one and add the other later.
Yes. Sales stay exactly as they are. Rental, subscription and sales can sit next to each other on the same product, so customers choose how they want to buy. When a rental ends, the unit can also be bought out, traded in or sold off.
The widget shows live availability by location. The customer picks a start and end date, sees whether a unit is free for those days, and sees the price and deposit before they check out.
Every order is created in BIYU. BIYU routes it to the nearest location that has a unit available for those dates, based on the customer's location. Customers can pick up in store or have it shipped, and the same logic works for returns.
Yes. BIYU includes a POS, so staff can rent, subscribe or sell at the counter. Those orders land in the same system as online orders, so stock, deposits and returns always match.
The customer returns it in a store or ships it back with a return label we create. The unit is scanned in and goes through the refurbishment steps you defined for that product. When it is done, the serialized asset becomes available for the next customer.
